Arts & Homelessness International

Solidarios para el Desarrollo

Solidarios para el Desarrollo was born more than 35 years ago in the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, where a group of university students and Professor José Carlos García Fajardo started the seminar ‘Solidarity’ and began their voluntary action collaborating in different projects in Madrid. Similar initiatives subsequently emerged in universities in Seville, Granada, Murcia and others. Through social action, communication and advocacy, they seek to break down prejudices to transform our environment. In addition to accompanying people who suffer exclusion, and aim to look for the causes and offer alternative proposals.
