Launching 3 years of Legislative Theatre Programmes around the UK

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation has awarded AHI 3 years of funding to deliver 9 Legislative Theatre projects up to 2028.

So far we have run a project in Belfast with Housing Rights on the Private Rental Sector (see links below) and are preparing further projects on fair pay for homeless people and on homelessness and family evictions.

The projects will seek to enable people with lived experience/at risk of homelessness to help co-create policies which affect them, putting the power in their hands. We are seeking legislative bodies which create homelessness prevention and support policies and rules (such as councils, Integrated Care Boards etc) to sign up to one of these projects.
