Choir with No Name – South London Choir
The Choir with No Name South London was founded in the autumn of 2012. We meet every Tuesday night at 7pm in a community centre near the Old Kent Road in South London, called Pembroke House. Our sessions are led by choir director Sam Chaplin, and we always have coffee and biscuits beforehand and a cooked dinner after rehearsal. Sam’s cheesy warm-up games are the stuff of legend…! It’s a bit tricky to find the first time you come to Pembroke House… From Elephant and Castle, either jump on a bus to the Old Kent Road / East Street stop, or walk down New Kent Road, over the Bricklayer’s Arms roundabout, down the Old Kent Road, right onto East Street, 2nd right into Beckway Street, first left into Tatum Street!
